Noah Kaye, Lead Pastor

Pastor Noah Kaye serves as Lead Pastor at Capital Christian Fellowship. Pastor Noah’s passion and Ministry at CCF focuses primarily on Leadership, Vision, Administration, Preaching and Pastoral Care.  Noah brings excitement and energy to the ministry at CCF!

He is a local guy who was raised in Hyattsville, Maryland.  He spent 6 years at Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania where he graduated with a degree in Pastoral Ministry, met and married his wife Tricia, and served as a Residence Director at the college. 

Pastor Noah is currently completing a Masters of Arts in Christian Ministries Degree from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Noah enjoys (most) country music, electronics, traveling and being with people.

Pastor Noah & Tricia live in Bowie with their son Davis and their two Chihuahua’s Miles and Colby. 


 

  Nelson Okanya, Associate Pastor

Nelson Okanya serves as an associate pastor at CCF.  He is originally from Kenya East Africa.  After studying Christian ministries at Daystar University in Nairobi Kenya, his church Nairobi Mennonite Church sent him to the United States in 1996 as a participant in the Youth evangelism Service (YES), a program of Eastern Mennonite Missions.  He served and led different international teams before being invited to serve as an assistant director and then as interim director at the Baltimore Discipleship center from may 1998-december 1999.  Upon completion of his assignment at the center, Nelson attended Eastern Mennonite Seminary and graduated with Masters of Divinity Degree with concentration in Pastoral Care in 2002. 

Nelson met his wife Jessica while both attended and worked with youth and young adults at Immanuel Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg Virginia.  After two years of marriage, Nelson and Jessica served on a one year assignment with Eastern Mennonite Missions at the Mennonite Theological College of Eastern Africa in Tanzania.  At the college Nelson served as an instructor and academic dean while Jessica served as an instructor and college accountant.  Nelson also taught as an adjunct faculty at Eastern Mennonite University in 2005.   He enjoys reading, teaching, preaching, studying the Bible and theology, worship leading, pastoral care, and relating to people 

 Nelson is excited about the church as a community of believers in Jesus Christ who seriously seek to be faithful to the Lord.  Nelson invites you to come and be part of what God is doing here at CCF and indeed in the world through the church.  Praise the Lord!  Nelson, Jessica and their son Barak lives in Greenbelt, Maryland.



Lew Good, Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Lew Good has joined the staff as Pastor Emeritus. Some of his ministry will be directed toward interaction and activities with the older half of our congregation. Other interests and responsibilities include serving on the pastoral team, outreach, and visitation. He was the building committee chair during the construction of our new facility and continues to oversee the development of the second floor that will serve the youth and other ministries.

Pastor Lew is a native of this area of Maryland. He attended local schools and then went on to Eastern Mennonite University. He was a local businessman with a building supply business. After he was ordained to the ministry, he began working in real estate to have a more flexible schedule for the work of the church. He also earned the Master of Arts in Church Ministry at Eastern Mennonite Seminary. He was ordained as a bishop to oversee several churches in the Baltimore – Washington district in 1978. He retired from the last phase of this work in early 2006.

Pastor Lew likes to read books, especially about church strategy and what God is doing in our world. He enjoys traveling and meeting new people and cultures as well as historical sites. His family also thought that he needed some relaxation and introduced him to golf. Pastor Lew and Helen have six children who are married and together with their grandchildren they are scattered over eight states. Pastor Lew is the longest standing member of CCF having been a part of this congregation since 1929!!!! Yes, you read that right! We are honored to have Lew on Staff.


Mike Rosado, Youth Pastor

Mike offers 7 years of professional youth ministry experience and a passion for youth and creative arts.  Mike has served as the Generations Pastor at River of Life Worship Center in Cherry Hill, NJ for the last 7 years (responsible for ages cradle to college).  Mike will bring many gifts to CCF, all of which will be wrapped in great creativity, as you will soon see.  Mike has been married to Kelly for 5 years and they have a 3 year old son, Chase.  Mike is Puerto Rican, bilingual, and interested in increasing the diversity, discipleship and relationships of our youth.  Mike and Kelly have sensed God’s call to transition from their current ministry at the River after years of great ministry and in right relationship with the Leaders and the church.


Jaye Lindo, Director of Operations

Jaye Shelton Lindo serves as Director of Operations at CCF.  She runs the front office and oversees guest relations and our many administrative tasks but also brings a smile, warmth and a heart for people!  Jaye joins our team here at CCF after working 21 years for one of the leading Convention Decorating Companies in the Country.  She and her husband Robert have three beautiful and talented daughters.  Her family is the blessing of her life.   She treasurers her faith in Christ and relies on Psalm 121 to make it through each day.  She is very excited about the journey of her life and the fact that God has her at CCF during exciting times like these!

Jaye enjoys reading Christian books, self help books for informational and personal growth and writing.  In 1995 & 1997 she had the honor of having two of her poems published with the National Library of Poetry.  She enjoys the computer and researching information on the web.  Jaye’s all time favorite thing to do is to laugh until she cries.  Keep the Joy of the Lord in your Heart!
